Be careful in the rainy season!

Be careful in rainy season!
Pre-monsoon rains have started across the country, light and heavy rains are continuing in various cities and the Meteorological Department has predicted more stormy rains.  During the rainy season, it is important that citizens ensure the safety of their lives and property.  We should check the drainage on the roofs of the house so that water does not accumulate. Never bathe in rain gutters and ponds, keep children away from electric wires and poles.  And one should avoid touching the power lines that have fallen on the ground.  According to health experts, the rainy season is prone to outbreaks of numerous epidemic diseases, including seasonal influenza (epidemic cold), malaria, typhoid, dengue fever, cholera, and hepatitis A.  Epidemic cold (Seasonal Influenza) is a common disease spread during the rainy season.

Be careful in rainy season!

Influenza virus enters the human body through the air and affects the nose, throat and lungs. And since its virus is present in the open air,  It is easily transmitted from one person to another.  The symptoms of this disease include runny nose, severe pain in the body and throat and fever. To avoid this epidemic, one should take a good diet so that the body's immunity is stronger and can eliminate the virus.  Apart from this, cholera is one of the dangerous diseases that spread during the rainy season. Cholera is caused by some dangerous bacteria that spread due to bad food, rotten fruits, dirty water and lack of hygiene.  Its symptoms include nausea and vomiting, due to which the body loses a lot of water and muscles spasms, and the human body becomes depleted of salts.  A cholera patient needs immediate treatment because the lack of salts in the human body can also cause death.  A cholera patient should dissolve ORS in water and feed it, which maintains the balance of water and salts in the body. To prevent cholera, it is important to use clean boiled water and take care of hygiene rules.  There is also a risk of typhoid spread due to bacteria found in contaminated water during the rainy season, which is spread through contaminated food or the feces of an infected person.  Vomiting. The most dangerous thing about this disease is that its germs remain in the bile even after treatment.  This disease is diagnosed through a blood test. Precautions to prevent this disease include using clean water, using good antibacterial soaps, and managing good drainage.

Apart from this, hepatitis A (yellow jaundice) is also one of the dangerous epidemic diseases that cause infection in the liver. Flies that sit on fruits and vegetables play an important role in spreading this disease. And for this reason, health experts recommend that everything be washed with water before use. Symptoms of this disease include inflammation of the liver, yellowing of the eyes, skin and urine, pain in the stomach, loss of appetite.  Constipation, nausea, fever and thin patches are included. There is no specific treatment for this disease, but it is often recommended to drink different drinks.  Similarly, one of the diseases that spread during the rainy season is malaria, which is spread by mosquitoes that breed in stagnant rainwater.  Its symptoms include high fever, body and headache, sweating, if it is not treated in time, liver and kidney problems may occur.  As a preventive measure against malaria, one should use mosquito nets and try not to store dirty water in the house.  Accumulation of water also poses a risk of dengue fever, dengue mosquitoes breed in clean water.  The distinguishing feature of this mosquito is that it has white and black stripes on its body and is usually larger than other mosquitoes and bites in the morning and evening. Signs of dengue fever include severe pain in the joints and muscles, behind the eyes.  Symptoms include pain, headache, fever, and red welts on the body.  While the rains in the hot season are a source of mercy and relief for us, due to not taking precautionary measures, they can also become the cause of the above diseases, so to enjoy the rainy season, it is important to have a special hygiene and sanitation.

Be careful in rainy season

Care should be taken to keep oneself and the house clean, so as to avoid the spread of epidemics and the possible damages that may result from them.
